Biocair ZeoCool

ZeoCool

Areas of Use

ZeoCool is a range of high performance systems developed for shipping temperature sensitive material between +2ºC to +8ºC combining both heating and cooling technology. Cooling through evaporation rather than melting as evaporation is seven times more efficient at cooling than using frozen ice packs. Heating through an exothermic reaction where the thermostat employed reacts to the ambient temperature for maximum sustainability.

This means ZeoCool is reduced in size compared to standard passive shipping systems – enabling the user to have a greater payload space and significantly reduced distribution costs. ZeoCool is ideal for all modes of transport – Air, Sea and Road. Biocair’s core range of packaging has various applications, including the transport of temperature-sensitive material and dangerous goods in compliance with ICAO/ IATA/ ADR standards.

Features and Benefits:

  • Up to 45% reduction in volumetric weight – significantly reducing distribution costs.
  • The ability to heat as well as cool – reacting to the ambient temperature.
  • No internal or external power source required – enhancing reliability.
  • No additional cooling components – reducing operational costs and saving time.
  • No packing protocol – reducing the capacity for error.
  • Push button activation – making it easy as 1, 2, 3.
  • Can be placed into a +5ºC chiller – lengthens +2ºC to +8ºC compliance.

Additional Information

System weights are dependent on weight of product to be shipped.
